Virtual Team Building started when work went remote and every team suddenly needed a way to connect through a screen. We began running virtual events — trivia showdowns, murder mysteries, tiny campfires with real s'mores kits shipped to every desk — and writing down everything that actually worked. Those notes became this site's free library of virtual games and guides.
Today virtualteambuilding.com is two things: the home of the hosted virtual events our crew runs every day for remote and hybrid teams, and that same library, kept free and updated by the people who host these events for a living. Every format here has been tuned over thousands of live sessions — what keeps a group of five engaged, and what still works with five hundred across nine time zones.
